Miranda Lambert is continuing to champion shelter pets. The singer's MuttNation Foundation has now awarded more than $175,000 in grant money to spay and neuter programs. It launched the It Takes Balls Campaign earlier this year. The campaign benefits 48 organizations across Tennessee and also works to raise awareness on the importance of spaying and neutering pets. The organizations being supported offer low-cost spay and neuter surgeries. The It Takes Balls Campaign also benefits Spay Tennessee, a state-wide organization that helps launch pet spay and neuter initiatives. Have you adopted a shelter pet, and if so, how was the experience for you?
