On Saturday, October 14, when he heard gunshots at the Texas State Fair, Craig Morgan dashed into the throng to save his wife. Morgan took the stage during the State Fair in Dallas, when his show was stopped because of an active shooter. Three persons were hurt when a shooter started shooting inside the food court, and the shooter was taken into custody. He said, "Some of you may have seen me. My wife was actually out on the grounds when it was happening. So, I ran out to get her and get her back and secured."
