Chevy is recalling roughly 4,000 pickup trucks over a steering issue. The steering gear shaft can fracture and disconnect from the steering arm - which could mean a sudden loss of all steering control. Affected models include 2024 Silverado 2500s and 3500s, and GMC Sierra 2500s and 3500s. Owners will be notified by letter starting next month. Are you a Chevy person or a Ford person - or have you never felt loyal to a car maker?
