Lee Brice penned a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Sara Brice, to celebrate her birthday on Wednesday (March 19).

The South Carolina-born singer-songwriter shared two photos on Instagram, including a selfie of the couple and a snapshot of Sara gazing toward a glowing sunset. Brice wrote that it was Sara’s birthday, “but you seem to be the one who is giving all the time.. You’re selfless. You give us your love, your endless and focused attention and stability..You are the strength of our family - the reason why we have three wonderful children with morals and values you just don’t see as often in today’s world..you are why they are so full of joy and Jesus, and why they are so healthy and happy.

“Baby, This road gives me a lot, but it also takes so much at times. Today is one of those times,” he continued. “I wish I could be there with you today…I wish I could turn back the clock, find you sooner, so I could love you longer. I wish I could give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, to see how special you are, how much you mean to me and our children and so, so many others.

“Thank you for loving me, day after day, year after year. I hope today, you celebrate yourself and all that you are. I know I will. I love you till my last breath. Happy birthday my love.”

Brice, who kicked off his “You, Me & My Guitar Tour” earlier this year, married Sara in April 2013. They first met as teens on Myrtle Beach, where Brice serenaded his future wife with his guitar, and stayed in touch as friends while they lived in separate states. Now, they’re parents to three children, sons Takoda and Ryker, and daughter Trulee. The kids were born in 2008, 2013 and 2017, respectively.
