Carly Pearce “fangirled so hard” when she attended the star-studded Opry 100: A Live Celebration event on Wednesday evening (March 19) in Nashville, Tennessee.
Pearce honored beloved country legend Dolly Parton, who surprised the hummingbird artist with an invitation to become an Opry member in 2021, during the show. Many of the genre’s biggest artists took part in the Opry 100 event, celebrating the Opry’s centennial milestone in 2025. Pearce shared a photo with iconic bluegrass-country singer and fiddler Alison Krauss on Instagram on Thursday (March 20), and wrote in her caption:
“if you know me, you know meeting this woman was a bucket list moment. my dad bought tickets for my 16th birthday to see her live, I know every word to every record & when I drink a little wine.. i play every lick of every instrument on her live album 😂❤️ i fangirled so hard to my absolute favorite artist last night & she was everything i hoped she’d be.”
Krauss and Brad Paisley performed “Whiskey Lullaby” during the Opry 100 event on Wednesday evening, which was hosted by country star Blake Shelton. Other artists who took the stage include Reba McEntire, Post Malone, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, a special appearance by Randy Travis, and many more.
