School Closed For Outbreak To Be Used To House Homeless

A San Antonio school building is being used to house the homeless during the shutdown brought about by the coronavirus outbreak. Haven for Hope says 55 homeless are shuttled to Margil Academy every evening and leave the school the following day. They have access to the gym and the cafeteria, but not the entire campus. Volunteers and homeless clients are screened for symptoms every day, and the areas used by the homeless get a daily cleaning. The operation is scheduled to continue until April 24th.
