Texas A&M San Antonio's General Store Q&A 2017

When it comes to giving back to the community, there is no question that San Antonio is one of the most giving cities in the United States. So when student population data from Texas A&M University San Antonio hinted at issues with food insecurity, the students, faculty, and staff sprang into action and created the General’s Store to help put food on the table for those who need it. Donations come from a variety of resources including the San Antonio Food Bank. Carly Clegg had the chance to talk with Dr. Edwin Blanton, Director of Experiential Learning and Civic Engagement, to find out more about this amazing program.
