Fyre Festival is back! Well, not in that way. The infamous festival is back in the news after a two-million dollar settlement has been reached for nearly 300 ticket holders. This doomed 2017 event, which was supposed to be a fun festival weekend in the Bahamas, turned into a nightmare for festival goers.
Now, what does this settlement mean for the attendees? They should receive around 7,000 dollars each.
Fyre Media touted the Bahamas-based music festival as the "cultural experience of the decade", promising 8,000 attendees luxury beach huts and superstar performances but, when people arrived, they found disaster relief tents to stay in and cold cheese sandwiches to eat.
