Oh, we can all agree that 2020 is a year that we should all forget. From COVID-19, to the job loss, the loss of life, civil unrest, man, it was one heck of a year. How could we forget about the lack of personal connection. Not being able to see friends and family members took a toll on many. Some families haven't seen each other in almost a year. Let's just keep it real, 2020 sucked.
Ok, so where do we start to start over? How about words that we can discontinue in the new year.
Lake Superior State University in Michigan came out with their own list here are the top 5 that I think we can all agree on.
5.) "In these uncertain times"
4.) "In an abundance of caution"
3.) "We're all in this together"
2.) "Social Distancing
1.) COVID-19 or anything related to COVID....
Bonus, can we please stop using the phrase "you're on mute?" Although, I was in a meeting this morning and guess who was on mute.... this guy.
Happy 2021 friends!
