Luke Bryan Pays Tribute to Crew Member Who Passed Away

Right now it don’t make sense, so Luke Bryan is letting the music do the talking.

The country superstar performed a stripped-down version of his 2013 single “Drink A Beer” Sunday (Feb. 18) during his concert in Louisville, Kentucky, to honor late crew member Marcus Wade.

Wade passed away in a motorcycle crash on February 9, just days before he was set to join Luke’s What Makes You Country Tour.

He had previously worked with Luke on many tours, including his That’s My Kind of Night, Kill the Lights and Farm tours. Wade had also worked on tour crews for Jason Aldean, Toby Keith and Keith Urban.

The Murfreesboro, Tennessee, native was killed when his 1998 BMW motorcycle struck a rock embankment, a local news station reports. Friends have set up a GoFundMe to help cover emergency medical services and a celebration of life ceremony.

Wade is survived by wife Lori.

He was 46.
