Megan Moroney revealed a 10-second sneak peek of her “Wish I Didn’t” music video, which stars Dylan Efron.
Efron, 33, appears in the visual alongside the award-winning country star. Commenters on TikTok and Instagram gushed over the producer and TV personality’s surprise role in “Wish I Didn’t.” Moroney, 28, who recently revealed the full Cloud 9 track list, confirmed earlier this week that the song is next to arrive from her highly-anticipated third studio album. It follows “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things.” She wrote the track with Emily Weisband, Hillary Lindsey and Luke Laird. Moroney will debut “Wish I Didn’t” (including the music video) on Friday (January 16).
Moroney will release Cloud 9 on Friday, February 20. She’ll kick off her headlining arena tour this spring, with added performance dates “due to overwhelming demand” at “top-tier arenas across the U.S.” See the full list of tour stops below.
“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,” Moroney said when she announced long-awaited album details in November. “Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been. My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love. Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
