Bernie Sanders plans San Antonio Rally

Sen. Bernie Sanders Participates In A Fox News Town Hall In Pennsylvania

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is planning to hold a rally in San Antonio this weekend.

Sanders' rally will be held at Cowboys Dance Hall on Saturday evening. The rally is set to start at 7, with doors opening at 5 that afternoon.

The Vermont Senator will hold a similar rally in El Paso earlier that day.

Sanders opened five new Texas campaign offices in recent days in San Antonio, McAllen, Houston, Dallas, and Austin.

He also launched a five-and-a-half-million-dollar ad campaign across Super Tuesday states including Texas.

A poll out last week put Sanders ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden in the Texas Democratic presidential primary. The University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll has Sanders at 24% with Biden at 22%. Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is third with 15% while former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is at 10%. Former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is at 7%. The Texas primary is March 3rd.
