One requirement for any Fiesta lover, especially of the female variety, is outlandish Fiesta clothing, and Jesse Salinas is the guy to see.
Salinas has been custom-making 'Fiesta inspired' clothing to order for the past six years, and he says the requests are always quirky.
"I think the spirit of Fiesta is definitely the Spirit of San Antonio," he told 1200 WOAI's Stephanie Narvaez. "So you'll see the Alamo or San Fernando Cathedral displayed on a hat. Definitely San Antonio because it is San Antonio."
What would you like to wear for Fiesta? Salinas says the sky is the limit.
"The more colors the better," he said. "Whatever the client wants, we do it, and anything is possible. I always start by asking the client, what's your budget."
As you might expect making wild Fiesta hats, dresses, and shoes can't be done quickly. While the rest of us are dealing the Valentine's Day in February, he is already hard at work.
"Fiesta definitely kicks it off," he said. "Once Fiesta is over, it's all about the playoffs, and everybody wants Spurs stuff. Then is the summer, and everybody wants patriotic. And after that, the holidays come around."
Salinas says because of all these tastes for fancy clothing, San Antonio is the best city in the country to operate a business like his.
