The Department of Public Safety is investigating a wreck in Live Oak County today between a school bus and an oilfield services vehicle in the Eagle Ford Shale, 1200 WOAI news reports.
A DPS sergeant says nobody on the Three Rivers ISD bus was killed, but three people were killed on the oilfield vehicle, and four others were hurt.
"The whole rear end of the bus was destroyed," Three Rivers ISD Superintendent Kenneth Rohrbach told 1200 WOAI news. "Thank goodness all the kids were sitting behind the driver."
The DPS says some of the children on the bus suffered minor injuries. There were 12 children on the bus at the time.
The bus was turning into an RV Park on Highway 72 when was rear ended by a bus taking workers to a well site.
